We are off to a wonderful beginning!!  The class has completed the  first unit of math dealing with place value, counting back money change, and rounding whole numbers.  We have started to write, completing a couple of "compare and contrast" essays and moving on to a 6 paragraph paper about California's four regions.  Farragut's whole 4th grade class has been honored to have been chosen to work with The LA Opera Company! Your students have been rehearsing a show inspired by Mozart's Marriage of Figaro and a performance is scheduled to take place towards the end of October or beginning of November.  Stop by any time to talk or find out more about what's going on.  :)
