What’s New In Room 25?

Welcome Back to school! Though we have only been back a short time, we are well on our way to having a full schedule. The children are now doing rotations for science, social studies, technology and character ed and health. Along with this, we will begin our Open Court language arts program completely this week.

Language Arts

Beginning this week, the children will have spelling words, challenge words from the story and a new homework section for language arts: Read 4 Today and Write 4 Today. Each night the students will have an opportunity to practice and strengthen their reading, comprehension, and writing skills. Please do this homework each night as we will check it the next morning. Remember, the kids get prizes at the end of the week for all their hard work!

In Science, the children are learning about sound, pitch, and volume in preparation for their music class that begins in October. Remember to use their blue Interactive Science workbooks to help them with their homework.

If you need homework information, please go to Mrs. Harter's page. All of the homework is listed on her page weekly.

Kudos to all of you for giving the children the gift of cool air. They are doing so much better and are more focused! Thanks for all of the wipes and hand sanitizer you've sent in. We truly appreciate it.

Class Wishlist
We would love to have more face tissue, paper towels, dry erase markers, and color ink for our HP Printer ( we need HP 920 color)

Thanks as always for all that you do!
Have a great week,
Ms. Jackson
